Building on the outcomes of the first phase of the 'Improving Water Use Efficiency in Agriculture' activity, the Turkish Water Institute (SUEN) continues to focus on the importance of efficient water use in the agricultural sector.
This second phase focuses on Good Water Governance and Innovative Technologies, specifically the use of remote sensing and informatics.
Through study tours and workshops, senior academics and policy- and decision makers from the region are introduced to cutting-edge water resource planning and management methods. Such activities offer participants an opportunity to share experiences from different countries in the region and explore the applicability of new technologies in their home country.
This activity is being implemented under the Blue Peace Middle East WEFE Nexus Programme. It is jointly supported by SUEN and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
